Smarter Water. Stronger Yields.

Minnesota Irrigator Program Returns to Becker — Nov. 18–19, 2025

Irrigators across the state know that water isn’t just a resource—it’s an investment. The Minnesota Irrigator Program (MIP) is back this fall, offering two days of practical, research-driven training designed to help you make every drop count.

Hosted by the University of Minnesota Extension in partnership with leading ag organizations, MIP 2025 takes place November 18–19 in Becker, MN, and focuses on maximizing irrigation efficiency, improving scheduling, and building confidence in data-informed water management.

Why Attend

MIP is built for growers, advisors, and irrigation managers who want to:

  • Use irrigation scheduling to improve crop performance and conserve water.
  • Apply soil and water relationship insights to better predict irrigation demand.
  • Learn from university researchers and industry experts about new technologies and tools.
  • Understand the economic return of efficient practices and equipment upgrades.

The course also fulfills Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) CEUs and meets one of the requirements for the Minnesota Ag Water Quality Certification Program (MAWQCP) Irrigation Endorsement—a credential increasingly valued by both producers and regulators.
