The former 4-H and FFA member is looking forward to sharing and explaining the practical knowledge of the methods and techniques of soil, water, and environmental conservation as they relate to agricultural operations and land use measures.

Lafe is a 2019 graduate of Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School in Plainview and is attending Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall studying Agronomy. After graduation, he plans to research corn hybrids and start a breeding program to bring new genetics into the corn industry. Following his research, Lafe would like to return closer to home where he would like to enter agronomy sales to help farmers and growers with their crops and in life.
