2026 Convention & Expo Highlights

The Irrigators Association of Minnesota hosted its 51st Annual Convention & Expo on February 19, 2026, at The Park Event Center in Waite Park. The event brought together irrigators, industry partners, and ag leaders from across the state for a day focused on connection, insight, and the future of irrigation.

Strong Attendance & Engagement
Over 160 attendees and a full vendor floor created a high-energy environment for networking and conversation.
Keynote Presentation
Dave Janson (Strategic Farm Marketing & Crop Insurance) shared insights on markets, risk management, and planning for the future.
Legislative & Policy Updates
Lobbyists John Berns and Tony Kwilas provided an update on the current legislative landscape and key issues impacting irrigators. Minnesota Department of Agriculture Commissioner Thom Peterson also spoke to attendees on the state of agriculture in Minnesota.
Industry & Research Updates
Discussion included irrigation trends, water policy, and ongoing statewide efforts affecting producers.

Fletcher Syltie was recognized for his years of service as IAM Treasurer
